Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist

Make a measurable difference to children’s communication and feeding outcomes within a supportive, multidisciplinary team. Our client is a leading paediatric therapy provider delivering evidence‑based, child‑centred interventions for children with a range of speech, language, communication and swallowing needs. You’ll join a collaborative service that values learning, reflective practice and high clinical standards.

The role

  • Complete comprehensive paediatric assessments using standardised tools, observation and input from parents/teachers; provide clear diagnoses and measurable goals.
  • Plan and deliver evidence‑based interventions across articulation, language comprehension/expression, social communication, fluency and feeding/swallowing (1:1 and groups); review and adapt plans to track outcomes.
  • Produce high‑quality documentation and reports; communicate progress and home/school strategies to families and educators.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team; contribute to case discussions and integrated care planning.
  • Engage in CPD and help foster a learning culture across the service.

About you

  • Recognised SLT qualification (BSc/MSc or equivalent) with current professional registration (e.g., HCPC).
  • Paediatric experience in clinical, school or therapy settings; confident in assessment, diagnosis and child‑centred therapy planning.
  • Strong communicator and collaborator; excellent organisation and documentation.
  • Desirable: experience with ASD, dysphagia, stammering and/or AAC; awareness of bilingual/diverse language backgrounds.
