This role is based within a well‑established nursing care home set in a semi‑rural location near Garstang. The service provides personalised nursing and residential care to adults with a range of needs, including older people, physical health conditions, dementia and more complex nursing requirements.

The home has a strong person‑centred ethos, focusing on dignity, independence, comfort and quality of life, and is supported by an experienced management and care team.

The Role

We are recruiting for a Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) to join the nursing team and contribute to the delivery of high‑quality, compassionate care in a calm and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective nursing care in line with individual care plans
• Undertake clinical assessments and ongoing health monitoring
• Administer medication and oversee medicines management
• Work collaboratively with care staff, GPs and visiting professionals
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
• Support and guide care staff during shifts
• Promote dignity, choice and resident wellbeing at all times
• Ensure safeguarding, infection control and health & safety standards are upheld

About You

• Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) with active NMC registration
• Experience in a nursing home or similar care setting desirable
• Compassionate, reliable and person‑centred in your approach
• Confident working independently and as part of a wider team
• Strong communication and organisational skills
